June 2020

We partner with Miskolci Aslozsolsza Kistokal Metodista Egyhaz, a  Methodist Church in Miskolc, Hungary where we share Christ with children in Hungary and with Roma (gypsies).  Pastor Kevin leads our mission group of youth and adults on this exciting intercultural adventure that includes ministry to children and the local community.  Through service projects and personal relationships we will foster ongoing love for Jesus Christ and his global mission.

Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.

Update on Recovery Ministry

image27

February 2019

The Friends of Dr. Bob and Bill W. Recovery Ministry launched on November 1st and the response has been far greater than anyone could have expected!!! We have regular meetings on Thursday Nights from 6:30pm to 7:30 pm, and have been having between 8 and 10 dedicated people (sometimes more) who want to help those in recovery, or those who need help getting people into a program, to help them kick addiction.

At some meetings we dedicate our time to someone in need of help, be it themselves or family members, we offer suggestions, share our stories, and assist the person in need to get the help they need. In other meetings, we have assisted those who are struggling to stay sober in the moment. We also have our Community Service Projects that we are forging ahead with, such as:

1- Setting up a curriculum so that we may speak in the schools, as well as the teen center to start a Substance avoidance project

2-Partnering with New Freedom, the Men’s Inpatient recovery “House” in Princeton, by collecting items such as tooth brushes, tooth paste, soap, shampoo, body wash, nail clippers, underwear for those who come to recovery from jail with absolutely nothing

3-Exploring the creation of sober housing for women in Princeton.
