What is it and how can I help?
This event supports many Freshwaters missions and ministries, both in our community and abroad. Men and women alike contribute their talents by making and serving food and rolls, as-well-as, helping with our craft sale. Our famous lefse sale, cookie walk, and bake sale bring in people from the surrounding community.
Our quilters sew and prepare crafts throughout the year for this event. The money from our raffled quilt will support Mille Lacs County homeless ministries.
Many of our talented Freshwaters family donate
items such as jellies, jams, pickles, canned goods, crocheting, sewing, knitting, quilting, wooden crafts, etc. We will start to collect them next month. Please let us know what you are able to donate, so we can plan accordingly.
Many craft venders rent space from us and look forward to this successful event.
We partner with Miskolci Aslozsolsza Kistokal Metodista Egyhaz, a Methodist Church in Miskolc, Hungary where we share Christ with children in Hungary and with Roma (gypsies). Pastor Kevin leads our mission group of youth and adults on this exciting intercultural adventure that includes ministry to children and the local community. Through service projects and personal relationships we will foster ongoing love for Jesus Christ and his global mission.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
