Pastor Kevin Fox has been the pastor of Freshwaters since 2014. He comes to us with his wife, Ildiko, and their son, Daniel. Kevin has been a pastor in the United Methodist Church since 1999. He grew up in the Northfield area of Minnesota where his parents still live. He enjoys studying European/German history, chess, collecting books, and spending time with his family-which is his greatest joy!
John 4:13-14 ......“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.
What motivates Freshwaters? John 4:14 is our story -- we long to be a place and people where people encounter the life-giving transformation through Jesus Christ in real relationship and refreshment for life. The woman in John 4 was burnt out with life, relationships, and was empty. She was looking for meaning, purpose, and love but could not find it. On this particulate day, she happened to encounter Jesus Christ, who did not judge her, but who valued her, met her where she was at, and as a result -- she came to know the love of God. She felt newness of life, love, hope and joy - so much so that she wanted to share that with others. Because of her, her whole town came to believe in Jesus Christ! This is who we want to be as Freshwaters, and this what we want to see happen over and over again through our ministries and our people! Come and join us, let us offer fresh living waters of Christ through real relationships and refreshment for life!
I am truly proud of this congregation, and I am proud to be the pastor of these amazing people. I am thankful to live here in the Zimmerman and Princeton area, surrounded by great people. If given the opportunity, I would love to be your pastor. If you do not have a church home; we would love for you to come along on this journey, as we all seek to grow and offer the living fresh waters of Jesus Christ!
